Improves Heart Rate Sensor

Patent pending technology in the H2O case is designed to improve heart rate reading quality. The case keeps the watch in place against your skin while you swim, run or work out. By reducing the watch movement on your skin (a.k.a sensor Motion Artifacts), the case improves the accuracy of the heart rate readings.

The Apple Watch uses an Optical Heart Rate sensor (PPG) that is very sensitive to reading errors. Most errors are due to Motion Artifacts where the watch is moving against the skin, causing the readings to be erratic. With our patent pending design, we have been able to reduce the Motion Artifacts and improve the heart rate accuracy compared to the standard Apple Watch band.
